Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex 10-In-1 Renewal System Review

I came across this line six months ago when I unexpectedly ran out of conditioner on what should have been wash day. The disappointment that ran through my body when I opened my jar of conditioner, only to see a small corner remained. I went to my local Target and Shea Moisture’s Superfruit Complex 10-In-1 Renewal System Hair Masque was the only natural deep conditioner they had available. I was very reluctant to purchase it because Shea Moisture and I weren’t the best of the friends back then. Fast forward to now and I’m on my THIRD jar of this stuff! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!

Shea Moisture’s Superfruit Complex Hair Masque has turned into my “holy grail” deep conditioner and here’s why.

• TONS OF SLIP! I’m tender headed and have tight pencil circumference 3c 4a coils. Need I explain any further of why I NEED products with slip?
• A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY! There’s no such thing as a “dime sized” amount when you’re natural. We really take handfuls of product for each section of our hair. I can honestly say that you don’t need to take globs of this hair masque for it to work; which is wonderful for your pockets!
• MOISTURIZING! It actually does what it says it’s going to do; deep condition! When I finish my 30 minute session of sitting under the steamer, my curls are extremely soft, shiny and very easy to manage. I feel no need to detangle a second time or use my brush at all once it’s time to style my hair.

Before trying this product, I can’t remember the last time I’ve used shampoo. To clarify my hair I was doing ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) rinses once a month. Now the Superfruit Complex Shampoo is the ONLY one I will use and I no longer co-wash or do ACV rinses. Yes, I’ve been converted by this shampoo!

• SULFATE FREE! Although most sulfate free shampoos can be drying, this one is NOT. It left my hair feeling soft and super moisturized!
• NICE LATHER! This is personal but it’s what I missed when I was strictly co-washing and doing ACV rinses. This shampoo will gave me an amazing lather, which made my scalp feel like it was being thoroughly cleaned.
• EASY TO DISTRIBUTE! The consistency is just right, not too thick and not too watery. So it’s very easy to distribute the shampoo evenly on my scalp and clarify.

Last but certainly not least is their Superfruit Complex (instant, as I like to call it) conditioner. I’ve only tried this product once when I was low on time and couldn’t sit for 30 minutes under my steamer. I have to say that this product didn’t moisturize my curls how the hair masque does, but that was completely expected and understandable. Since I’ve only used this product once, I feel I can’t fully review it quite yet. Stay tuned for an update!

All in all, I LOVE this line and will continue to use it as my staple products! Each product will leave your hair smelling amazing and are color safe for my dyed naturalistas!
