How to Choose the Right Program for You and Your Business

How to Choose the Right Program for You and Your Business

Choosing the right program to invest in for you and your business can be a difficult task… especially if you’re new to investing. There are so many options out there promising to create major impact and transformations. What they don’t tell you is, every program does not work for everybody! There’s no “one size fit all” solution for you and your business. It’s important that you pick the right investment program that aligns with your needs. So let’s go into detail on the many options to choose from and which one would be best aligned for you and your business!

Where are you currently within your business

Before choosing a program to invest in, you need to consider where you currently are within your business. Are you a newbie that needs to learn the basics? Or an expert that needs top level personalized strategies and processes? This will help to determine the type of program you should invest in. I found that intimate group coaching programs worked best for me when I was a beginner. It was great having weekly calls with my coach and community support from my peers.

As I began to accelerate within my business, I found that group coaching programs were no longer on my radar. I wanted 1 on 1 support from my coach with personalized strategies that were created just for me. So I made the decision to invest in a mastermind that only had 3 people total. This was a great way to have the 1 on 1 support with my coach, while still having the community feel from my 2 peers. This is why it’s so important to understand where you currently are within your business and what your current preference is in terms of learning.

What’s your preferred learning style

Another factor to keep top of mind is your preferred learning style. If you do not perform well in a group learning environment, then maybe group coaching isn’t for you. Maybe you need hand holding… then I’d stay away from courses and look into intimate mastermind programs or working with a coach 1 on 1.

For example, I perform really well in smaller environments where I have more 1 on 1 access to my coach. I do not perform well in large group coaching programs where I have to assume what’s right or wrong because I have little to no interaction with my coach. To this day, I will not invest in a large group coaching program that has over 10 people enrolled. This is because I personally do not want to fight for my coach’s attention and prefer to have that 1 on 1 time with them.

How much access do you want

You should also consider how much access you prefer to have with your coach. Some programs offer no access to the coach at all; while others is strictly 1 on 1 direct access. Prior to investing, hone in on how much access you think you’ll need and then align that with the right program. Make sure to ask questions if the amount of access you’ll have to your coach isn’t clear. This key information is imperative to the growth of both you and your business.

Do your personalities match

If you’re going to work with someone for an extended period of time, then you want ensure that your personalities match. Do your research beforehand and get to know your potential coach. I love to do this by watching their stories on Instagram, video content and any reading material. You’ll get a real sense of someone’s energy and personality through video content. Ensuring your personalities match is huge because you might perform better with someone that’s “gentle” with their words, versus someone that’s a “straight shooter.” So do not skip this step and do your research!

Finding the right program to invest in is easy once you hone in on what YOU NEED and WANT! Don’t let the marketing tactics lure you into investing in a program that doesn’t align with your current needs. Stick to your inner voice and go with your intuition so you can choose the right program and see massive results with your business!
