Should You Hire a Coach? Here’s Some Signs that it’s Time

I’ll never forget how I felt when I hired my first a coach. I was super nervous and scared yet, excited for my future. It was a time for me when I knew that my own research on Google and free masterclasses were simply no longer enough. If you’ve been contemplating hiring a coach, then that’s your sign to go hire one! However, if you’ve never considered hiring one then this post is for you. Here’s how you’ll know it’s time to hire a coach!

You’re confused, overwhelmed & frustrated

Confusion, overwhelm and frustration were the top 3 feelings that made me take the leap into hiring a coach. I was confused because there’s a ton of free content out there constantly telling us what to do. I’d piece together the content I was learning from various industry leaders, in hopes that it would work for me. The thing they don’t tell you is, that free content is only a portion of what you actually need to learn in order to see results. Overwhelm kicked in when I started learning all these different free strategies, frameworks and methodologies that contradicted one another. At this point, I was frustrated from all the “research” I was doing and seeing absolutely no sales from it.

Hiring the right coach will instantly relieve all the confusion, overwhelm and frustration that you have. They’ll be able to provide a clear road map to outline how you’ll be taken from point A (where you are now) to point B (where you desire to be). You’ll have a clear understanding of what’s going to occur while you two work together and the milestones that you’ll hit along the way.

You aren’t seeing the results you’ve expected

Did I mention that I had not one sale after implementing all of the free strategies, frameworks and methodologies that I learned? So I went onto my next “strategy” which was mimicking what the successful entrepreneurs within my industry were doing. I’d spend hours looking at their content and framing mine to be aligned. I figured that if it worked for them, then it should work for me too! Wrong… I still made not one sale. If your sales are nonexistent or inconsistent, meaning you aren’t sure when the next one will come in, then you need to hire a coach.

You need clarity & feel lost

You feel like you need clarity because at this point, you’re second guessing every decision that you’ve made. You’re lost right now and feel like you’ve tried everything under the sun. My friend, it’s time for you to hire a coach. At this point, I’m sure your confidence has taken quite a hit and you might’ve lost a little faith in your ability to sell. You might have thoughts of quitting and/or thinking that your service isn’t something that people want.

I know, as I had these same thoughts and trust me when I say that they were all wrong! When you hire the right coach, they’ll give you the clarity that you’re seeking and get you back on the right track. You’ll gain more confidence than you had before and eventually, begin to know the exact steps you need to take in order to see the results you want.

You thrive when held accountable

The best thing about hiring the right coach is that they care about your results, so they’ll always hold you accountable. I personally check on my clients progress daily and provide them with that “push” they need to implement/execute. Your coach will motivate and push you to levels that you didn’t know were possible. Nonetheless, they’ll inspire you and open your eyes to new possibilities for your business. If you thrive in an environment where you’re held accountable and have support, then hire a coach!

Hiring a coach can be scary because you’re putting your trust into someone else. However, investing in yourself and your business will be one of the best decisions you’ve ever made. Think about the ROI (return on your investment) from hiring someone to help you accelerate towards your goals. Instead of continuing to piece together free information and seeing what works, why not hire someone that’s been there, done that and wants to help you!
