Five Beauty Products That I Absolutely Cannot Live Without

Finding a beauty product that I can’t live without is some serious stuff. Why? Because coming across beauty products that actually work is hard to come by! If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile now, then you’re already aware of my obsession with some of the products listed below. However, if you’re new here and want some beauty suggestions then keep on reading!
Just give you some background before we get started. . . I have oily combination skin that produces LOTS of oil by mid afternoon. So I tend to lean towards products that are oil-free, matte and sensitive. If you have regular or dry skin, the products listed below come in variations that are targeted towards your skin type!
Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer w. Sunscreen
I didn’t understand the importance of wearing sunscreen (especially on my face) until a year ago! My hunt at finding a good everyday sunscreen was quite difficult. For one, most sunscreens are oily and they tend to leave a white or purple cast with my skin tone. I needed something that would be oil-free and absorb the same way a usual facial moisturizer would. I’ve always loved Olay products and came across the Complete All Day Moisturizer w. Sunscreen while reading an article. When using this product, please take note that you do not need to use a lot of it! My first time trying it I squeezed out a lot (as I do my other moisturizers) and it left a white cast allover my face. So remember, that a little goes a long way and give it 10-15 minutes to completely absorb into your skin.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
This mascara is hands down the best EVER! I’m sure you’ve heard of it before and if not, then prepare to have your lashes thick like never before! The price is a bit hefty ($26.99) but it’s so worth it for the results. I love using this because it only requires two coats and I’m good to go! Additionally, the wand does a wonderful job separating my lashes while coating them and the color is truly black. NYX Angel Veil Primer
As I mentioned before, I have oily combination skin that produces oil extremely quickly! So a primer is a must have for me and my favorite at the moment is NYX Angel Veil. It’s a little difficult to work with at first but the more you use it, the better you’ll be at applying it. This primer does a wonderful job keeping the oil contained throughout the day. Just to note, if you have a darker skin tone like myself. . . you will have a white-purple cast on your face! Don’t be alarmed as it won’t show through once foundation is applied.
Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless Foundation
I haven’t tried many foundations and that’s because once I tried Maybelline’s Fit Me Matte and Poreless I didn’t feel the need to. They have an array of shades to choose from and just added more shades not too long ago! Nonetheless, this foundation does a great job at not creasing or becoming a slick oily mess throughout the day. Not only does Maybelline carry a variety of shades, they have another variation for people with regular or dry skin as well. So there’s something for everyone, literally!
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes,
I’m very big on skincare and taking my makeup off at the end of the day is an absolute must. I’ve tried a lot of products that were supposed to remove my makeup but found myself needing to go over spots multiple times. With the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes, I only need one sheet and it does an amazing job at removing all my makeup (even mascara). Many times the only thing I need is one makeup wipe and I’m good! There’s no need for me to wash my face two times or use another wipe to get the perimeter or hairline for additional foundation leftover. These Neutrogena wipes are a quick and easy way to get the job done!
